My partner and I recently stayed at the Dolby Hotel Liverpool for a delightful weekend escape. Location: The hotel is brilliantly positioned, offering beautiful views of the docks right from your window, which added a special touch to our mornings. It's a pleasant 18-minute walk to the main shopping center, making it convenient yet serene. Room Experience: The rooms at Dolby Hotel are designed with comfort and romance in mind. The views from our window were nothing short of spectacular, providing a constant, beautiful backdrop to our stay. Hotel Facilities: The on-site restaurant was a highlight, serving delicious meals with a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a couple's dinner. The coffee here was notably good, setting a pleasant start to our days. Service: The staff at Dolby Hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience with their warm hospitality. Whether it was at check-in or during our meals, their service was impeccable. Value for Money: Given the quality of the rooms, the breathtaking views, and the excellent service, we felt that Dolby Hotel offered good value for what we paid. Conclusion: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dolby Hotel Liverpool. The combination of beautiful views, a nice restaurant, and friendly staff made our romantic getaway memorable. We would definitely consider staying here again for our next visit to Liverpool. Rating: 4.5/5 stars This hotel is a gem for couples looking for a blend of peace, scenic beauty, and quality service. Highly recommended.

Everything from the beginning to the end of my stay was fantastic. The staff were all very helpful, bar staff, cleaning, front of house / reception - everyone was friendly & accommodating. The place was super clean throughout. Yes, it's a budget place, but so much nicer than the other budget places out there that I've been to. Perfect location on the promenade for the Albert Dock, M&S arena,Kings Dock, Pier head, Ferry, L1, and the city centre. If you get a room with a view of the river, it looks so pretty at night, with the other side of the River Mersey all lit up. I definitely recommend the Dolby Hotel & and I will definitely be using it again & again, whenever I'm visiting my family / friends, concerts or for L1 shopping trips in my former home city of Liverpool! Competitively priced offering rooms at excellent rates, plus the FREE PARKING is an absolute Godsend 💯

This is our second visit to this hotel as we attend gigs at the Camp and Furnace venue which is a convenient 5 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, functional and comfortable, and great value for money. Ear plugs are provided for light sleepers but we have never needed to use them. Drinks facilities with kettle are in the room for a crafty cuppa, and free toiletries are provided in the bathroom pod which will be replenished by reception on request. Try and request a room overlooking the dockland rather than the unglamorous car park and main road, to make your stay that little nicer. Breakfast offers a piping hot cooked English breakfast selection, toast, cereal and tea, coffee, fruit and juices etc - something for everyone whatever their preference. All staff are friendly and professional and will go above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable.

I’m usually a hotel snob and go for a boutique type hotel but decided to try the Dolby to take advantage of the free parking and glad I did. You can leave your car parked up even before and after you check on and out. The hotel was conveniently located for the centre of Liverpool (10 min walk) the room and bathroom were a little on the snug side but were spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate, we also had a great view of the waterfront. Staff were really polite and helpful. Breakfast was great too. All in all we had a fantastic stay and would hesitate to stay again and to recommend.

We booked 2 nights to stay from 30th December over new years and used the free car park. When we got there we were greeted by the lovely receptionist who told us she had a nice room for a couple as we asked for. She gave us all the information we needed and spoke to us about the payment for a late check out. She let us do everything in our own leisure which was great. I’ve used this hotel many years ago with my family and I’m so happy we decided to use this again as a couple. Lovely short walk down the docks, short walk into the shopping area and very close for cheap Ubers on an evening.
